SCHAFER MARINE SA DE CV is responsible for obtaining and using your personal data, as well as for its protection, in accordance with Articles 8, 15, 16, and 36 of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

The objective is to ensure the proper, controlled, and legal use of personal data handled for the administrative processes at Atom Heart Complex. Your information is required for the hotel's internal processes. This information is obtained through various means, including registration forms, telephone reservations, quotes, agreements, satisfaction surveys, and your comments, complaints, and/or suggestions.


The personal data requested includes: Full name (first, last, and patronymic), guest signature, official identification and/or passport information, home and mobile phone numbers, credit or debit card information, email address, residential address, place of origin, and tax identification number (RFC). This information will be used for the following purposes: guest security during their stay, reservation processing, issuing tax receipts, sending promotional information from the company to create a customer database, improving the control and execution of subsequent service processes, and ensuring the security and protection of their personal data.


SCHAFER MARINE SA DE CV intends that the personal data and/or sensitive data, which may be collected by virtue of this Privacy Notice, may be used for the proper operation and purposes of the Hotel and the government authorities that require it; the foregoing in order that they may be used for administrative, marketing, sales, statistical and other purposes that may be of interest and/or benefit to the Holder.

The protection of personal data is the responsibility of Complejo Atom Heart, which will take the necessary measures to prevent the loss and/or theft of information stored in physical and digital files. We commit to not transferring your personal information to third parties without your consent, except for the exceptions provided for in Article 37 of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, and to carry out this transfer in accordance with the terms established by that law.


Exceptions to Article 37: When the transfer is provided for in a Law or Treaty to which Mexico is a party; When the transfer is necessary for medical prevention or diagnosis, the provision of health care, medical treatment, or the management of health services; When the transfer is made to parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates under the common control of the data controller, or to a parent company or any company in the same group as the data controller that operates under the same internal processes and policies; When the transfer is necessary by virtue of a contract entered into or to be entered into in the interest of the data subject, by the data controller and a third party; When the transfer is necessary or legally required for the safeguarding of a public interest, or for the administration of justice; When the transfer is necessary for the recognition, exercise, or defense of a right in a judicial process; and When the transfer is necessary for the maintenance or fulfillment of a legal relationship between the data controller and the data subject. For the exceptions provided for in article 37 of the Federal Data Protection Law, if you do not express your opposition to the transfer of your personal data, it will be understood that you have given your consent for it.


Express designation of sensitive personal data. At SCHAFER MARINE SA DE CV, in addition to the personal data mentioned above, for the purposes stated in this privacy notice, we will use the following personal data considered sensitive: current and future health status, religious, philosophical, and moral beliefs, and union affiliation. We inform you that the processing of the aforementioned sensitive personal data is for the purpose of enabling Complejo Atom Heart to fulfill the obligations arising from the legal relationship we have with the Data Subject.


We are committed to ensuring that your personal data will be processed under security measures that guarantee its confidentiality. Means to revoke consent for the processing of personal data. You may revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data by submitting a request to the Privacy Officer in writing, by email, or by telephone. If, after revoking your consent, you request confirmation, the Data Controller will respond expressly. Means to exercise your ARCO rights. You have the right to: (i) access your personal data held by us and learn the details of its processing, (ii) rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete, (iii) cancel it when you consider that it is no longer required for any of the purposes indicated in this privacy notice, is being used for purposes to which you have not consented, or the contractual or service relationship has ended, or (iv) oppose its processing for specific purposes, as provided by law (collectively, the “ARCO Rights”). To exercise your ARCO Rights, you must submit a request (the “ARCO Request”) to the Data Controller, addressed to the Privacy Officer, at the Contact Address, accompanied by the following information and documentation: Your name, address, and email address so that we can respond to your ARCO Request; A copy of the documents that prove your identity (copy of your voter ID, passport, or any other official identification) or, if applicable, the documents that prove your legal representation, the originals of which you must present to receive the Data Controller's response; A clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which you seek to exercise any of your ARCO Rights; Any document or information that facilitates the location of your personal data; and, if you are requesting a rectification of your personal data, you must also indicate the modifications to be made and provide the documentation that supports your request. The Privacy Officer will respond to your ARCO Request and the reasons for their decision via email.


Cookies and Web Beacons. It's important to note that when accessing websites, you may encounter "cookies," which are text files that are automatically downloaded and stored on your computer's hard drive when browsing a specific webpage. These cookies allow the web server to record some of your data. Similarly, webpages may contain "web beacons," which are images embedded in the page or email. These can be used to monitor a visitor's behavior and store information such as the user's IP address, the duration of their interaction with the page, and the type of browser used, among other things. Therefore, we inform you that Atom Heart Complex may use cookies and web beacons to improve the website's performance.


ARCO Rights: The rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition to the processing of personal data. You have the right to access, rectify, and cancel your personal data, as well as to oppose its processing or revoke the consent you have given us for this purpose, through the procedures established by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
